Michael Bishop

Michael first came to know Purple Haze after meeting Captain Zach at The Johnson's Purple Martin Jamboree. Later that summer, he & his wife joined Zach on one of his Martin Tours on Lake Murray. Michael is the founder of the Northern Virginia Purple Martin Initiative working with local landowners & public places to erect Purple Martin colonies & manage habitats to better conserve local wildlife.
